Obama's Inauguration Speech

There are many similarities between Obama's inauguration speech and the last two speeches. Like the previous two speeches, he started his speech by giving thanks to the people of America. He was very confident and he had a great sprit with powerful tone, clear voice through all of his speeches. All of his speeches were meaningful, strong and attractive to the audience. In this speech, he also used different rhetorical devices. The most common rhetorical devices were repetition and reader inclusion. He said, “As for our common defense, we reject as false the choice between our safety and our ideals. Our founding fathers ... our founding fathers, faced with perils we can scarcely imagine, drafted a charter to assure the rule of law and the rights of man, a charter expanded by the blood of generations’’. This is an example of repetition.He delievered his speeche as the same way as the previous two.He repetaed some of his wordand talked slowely.He conclued all of speeches at the same way.At the end he gave thanks to the audience and pray for his countery.
There are also many differences between his three speeches.The main different is that in the inauguration speech he fouced on the responsibilities of American people as a nation and their problems.The audience didn’t cheer too much to show their respect as he was talking about serious topics.He talked about different problems in detal that American people faced from many years.He mainly fouced on how they can get ride from their current crissis.He said it is posseble for them to remain as a young nation if they can over come their childish things,work with sprit and look back to their history which will encourage them to go frowerad.He mention there is no shorter way to achive greatness and the path of their way are not very eassy.He talked how the ordinary people of America walked along the long path and how their sacrifaces and struggle helped them to get a new life.He also mentaion they have to follow them(those ordinary people) to achive their success and to reamin as a powerful nation.And this is the perfect time to do so. He said, “But our time of standing pat, of protecting narrow interests and putting off unpleasant decisions _ that time has surely passed. Starting today, we must pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and begin again the work of remaking America’’.No one alon can develop their nation .And therefor he said, in his speech we have to work together so that we can creat more jobs field and devlop our country.He said that America is a friend of other nation. He said, “We will begin to responsibly leave Iraq to its people, and forge a hard-earned peace in Afghanistan. With old friends and former foes, we will work tirelessly….’’.He also said America is a nation of all religion and nonreligon people.
After anylising all three of his speeches I can say that there was one thing common in his speech.And that is through his speech he tried to send the message that they are like a family and in order to solve their problem they have to work heard.He also said their journy is not eassy but they have to belive themselves and have to work with sprit and with confident.Through this message he also expreced his love toward his country and the people of his country.
